Rooms and Facilities
Overdale was opened around 1930 as the
result of a bequest by MIss Edith Mary
Younge, a Sheffield lady who died just
after the second world war.
One of the main aims of the home is to provide a warm family atmosphere based on Christian loving kindness.

The home consists of two large Victorian houses that were linked together in 1993 to form one large home which accommodates 25 residents at any one time. Within the grand settings of this delightful home there are:

  • Ensuite and Standard bedrooms
  • 4 large lounges
  • Dining Room
  • 2 Passenger Lifts
  • Activities / Computer room
